Demented self portrait.. started as a speed painting but kept exaggerating features :D

Couple of hours all up, 100% painted in photoshop ref'd from a crappy webcam pic I took 2 secs before starting.

It's wonderfully clear. Somehow the clarity of it makes me really happy. I extremely love all aspects of the face, but especially the eyes. Looks like you're staring into space out of tiredness. I feel like that a lot.

Thanks man :). Yeah pretty much everything on here is done 95-100% with a wacom.. hoping to change that soon though :). Need to get my hands dirty more often with inks and paints!

Woohoo! Many thanks as always miss :). Tiredness is the story of my life, and even on the rare occasion I'm not tired, I probably still look tired :D. I lack face muscles.

haha I'm interested in getting a wacom and trying stuff-- but yeah, I'm thinking there's nothing like getting to work with ink. I must be an analogic purist or something... :)

They're definitely worth investing in, I've just fallen into the trap of using it for everything :). I'm working on some pieces for an exhibition though that I think at this stage will be all acrylic and ink combo.. and I'd really really like to get to the point where I ink on paper and just use the tablet to colour digitally. But yeah you should give one a go!
