"Nose Ghoul" based on Peter Macinness' "Monster Maintenance Manual" characters for the Murdoch Books "Monster Maintenance Manual" competition.
Monster Maintenance Manual will be a kids book poking at the 'monsters' kids often fear, rationalising them and making them funny rather than scary, and not without fears of their own. The "Nose Ghoul's" are little creatures only a few mm tall, who like to stick hairs in strange places on adults (noses, ears, tongues, politicians eyebrows). They're described as looking like small male vampires, with fangs and a cape - but that the teeth are just for chewing down the hairs to size. It takes 15 Nose Ghouls to carry the superglue they use to stick the hairs in place. This is my take on these little dudes  Pumped these little guys out in 1 1/2 days.. pretty happy with how they came out considering.
